This starter kit combines a natural cowhide leather cover with a blank notebook refill made in Japan, providing a versatile foundation for writing, planning, sketching, and everyday note-taking.
The leather cover is crafted in Chiang Mai, Thailand, with a simple, natural texture that develops a distinctive character over time. The included notebook refill uses original MD PAPER, selected for a comfortable writing experience, and is carefully made in Japan with 64 blank pages.
The blue leather is inspired by the deep blue of the sky just before dawn, with a rich tone reminiscent of blue-black ink, indigo, and traditional indigo dyeing. As the notebook is used over time, the leather develops its own character, making each cover increasingly personal.
The simple construction makes the notebook easy to customize. Charms or beads can be attached to the elastic band or bookmark cord, while stickers and used stamps can be added to the notebook refill cover for a personal touch.
The notebook can also be expanded with separately available TRAVELER'S NOTEBOOK accessories, including zipper cases, pen holders, and connecting bands. Additional notebook refills can be added over time, allowing the notebook to adapt to different uses.
