Created in collaboration with art director Yoshie Watanabe, this cover features a sophisticated woven fabric design with small flowers in a variety of expressions set against a deep-toned background. The textured fabric gives the cover an elegant tactile quality while maintaining a clean and distinctive look.
A single red line runs vertically along the spine, complemented by red and blue velvet-style ribbon bookmarks for subtle contrast. The interior is made with synthetic leather and features Yoshie Watanabe's initials “Y.W” in gold, along with a debossed HOBONICHI logo.
Designed with portability in mind, the cover has a slim, compact construction without interior pockets or butterfly-style pen holders. Instead, the pen hook securely holds the clip of a pen, keeping the overall profile streamlined and easy to carry.
A hidden message reading “Congratulations on an ordinary day” is placed inside the section where the planner cover holds the notebook, adding a small and thoughtful detail to the design.

About Yoshie Watanabe
Yoshie Watanabe is an art director and designer known for her distinctive creative style. She has worked on fashion design for CACUMA, a brand launched together with Hobonichi, as well as packaging design for brands including AUDREY, G Butters’, and CARAMEL MONDAY.
Her creative work spans art direction, product design, and spatial direction, and she is also active as part of the creative unit KIGI.
