The Hobonichi Techo Weeks 2027 “White Cat Wallpaper” is the fourth collaboration between Hobonichi Techo and illustrator Yumi Kitagishi, who is also known for her work in picture books.

The cover features a charming wallpaper-style illustration of a white cat, two elegantly dressed swans, a black cat maid, and a large house. The newly drawn artwork is arranged like a decorative wallpaper pattern, combining a playful atmosphere with an elegant and cozy aesthetic reminiscent of the dollhouse-style interiors often seen in Kitagishi's work.

Refined Foil Details

The “2027” on the spine, along with small floral and leaf motifs, ribbon details, and lily-of-the-valley decorations, are finished with matte gold foil.

The subtle foil accents complement the illustrated pattern without overpowering it, adding a refined touch to the cover.
