The Hobonichi Techo Weeks 2027 Moomin “Around the Table” Weekly Planner features artwork and characters from the beloved world of Moomin, created by Finnish author, painter, and artist Tove Jansson.

Available in Japanese and English editions, this Weeks planner features a horizontal weekly layout, a January start, and a Monday start. The Japanese edition is a special edition with additional Moomin-themed content throughout the planner.

The cover illustration is inspired by a scene from the novel Moominsummer Madness. It depicts members of the Moomin family and their friends gathered around the dinner table as Emma, the theater mouse, appears before them. On the back cover, Little My is illustrated sitting inside a sewing basket.

The artwork is presented on a pale pink background with greige-colored linework, complemented by a light purple spine for a refined appearance. The “2027” design features lettering inspired by Moomin's tail and is finished with silver foil.

The cover has a textured, canvas-like surface and a firm hardcover construction with slight flexibility.

Japanese Edition – Special Features

The Japanese Edition Special Version includes additional Moomin content throughout the planner.

Weekly pages feature selected words and quotes from characters and stories in Moomin Valley. Quotes from characters such as Snufkin, Little My, Joxter, and other Moomin characters appear throughout the weekly pages.

Selected illustrations from the original novels are included on weekly pages and memo pages, allowing users to enjoy artwork from different Moomin stories while using the planner.

The monthly calendar also features different illustrations throughout the year, with additional small illustrations incorporated into the monthly layouts.

Additional pages include selected illustrations from Moomin comics, character introduction pages, and themed pages for recording experiences and memories throughout the year.

The special pages also include space for recording personal measurements, creating lists of up to 100 items, and other Moomin-themed content.

The inside cover pages feature an exclusive design created for this Moomin special edition. Two bookmarks are also included in colors selected to complement the Moomin theme.

English Edition

The English Edition features the same “Around the Table” Moomin cover design, inspired by Moominsummer Madness.

It features a horizontal weekly layout, January start, and Monday start, with an English-language planner format.
