The leather comes from Conceria 800 (Ottocento) in Tuscany, Italy, and uses Toscano Liscio smooth leather. It is produced using the traditional vegetable tanning process, in which plant-based tannins are carefully worked into the leather fibers. The result is a fine-grained surface with a smooth and comfortable feel in the hand.

The deep burgundy tone is named CHIANTI, inspired by the famous wine region of Tuscany. The leather is finished with aniline dyeing, allowing its natural character and gradual color changes through aging to remain visible.

The cover uses a simple tri-fold design with a clean, minimal construction. Long sections of leather are used to reduce the amount of stitching, while the left sleeve is folded back and stitched to create a refined finish. The interior is left unlined to keep the cover relatively slim while preserving the natural feel of the leather.

The right sleeve is constructed with open ends, while a slit-style card pocket provides simple storage. A magnetic button secures the flap, and a pen hook holds a pen by its clip.

The leather surface is wax-finished to create a smoother feel and provide some water resistance without losing the natural look and texture of the leather.
