The Hobonichi Techo Cousin 2027 is an A5-size daily planner designed with plenty of space for writing, planning, journaling, and creative use. Its one-page-per-day format provides a generous writing area, making it suitable for schedules, notes, diaries, drawings, photos, tickets, and other personal records.

The Cousin is also well suited for organizing work-related information in one place, keeping a parenting journal, or creating a shared diary. Because of its larger A5 format, it can be used as a desk or home planner as well as a planner for everyday use.

Each page features Hobonichi's signature 3.7 mm graph grid, carefully designed to make writing neat and organized while providing flexibility for diagrams, sketches, and illustrations.

A distinctive feature of the Hobonichi Techo is the "Words for Today" section, with one carefully selected quote or excerpt from the content of the Hobonichi website included on each daily page. This adds a reading element to the planner alongside its scheduling and journaling functions.

The Cousin also includes a weekly vertical layout, with a vertical time axis that makes it easy to organize appointments and plans throughout the week.

The planner uses thread-stitched binding, allowing it to open flat at 180 degrees for comfortable writing without needing to hold the pages down.

Inside, the planner uses Tomoe River paper, a thin, lightweight, and durable paper developed for planners. It offers a smooth writing experience and works well with ink.
