About Akiko Miyakoshi

Akiko Miyakoshi is a Japanese picture book artist who was born in Saitama in 1982. She made her debut in 2009 with The Typhoon Is Coming. Her picture books, including A Tea Party Deep in the Forest, The Way Home in the Night, and Little Shrew, have received numerous awards in Japan and internationally. Her works have also been translated and published in more than 15 languages.
