Hobonichi Techo A6 100%ORANGE Squirrels in a Row Planner Cover 2027

The Hobonichi Techo 2027 planner cover features playful artwork from 100%ORANGE, the Japanese illustrator duo behind the picture book Ohikkoshi.

Originally created for the children's magazine Ohanashi Pooka in 2007 and published as a picture book the following year, Ohikkoshi follows a lively group of squirrels as they cross bridges, walk down stairs, cross streets, climb fences, and continue on their way together.

The Original Size cover, titled “Squirrels in a Row,” fills the cover with a cheerful scene of squirrels walking together. Each squirrel has its own expression, eyes, fluffy tail, and appearance. One squirrel even turns around to look behind, adding a playful detail to the illustration.

The butterfly-style pen holder is made from synthetic leather, while the bright yellow interior features the squirrels walking across an expansive grassy field. A white charm inspired by an acorn is attached to the end of the bookmark, and the left interior pocket features the 100%ORANGE signature.

The exterior pocket continues the warm orange design. Looking inside the pocket reveals more squirrels, extending the “squirrels in a row” illustration throughout the cover.

About 100%ORANGE

100%ORANGE is the collaborative name of illustrators Kenji Oikawa and Mayuko Takeuchi. The duo creates illustrations, picture books, manga, and animation.

Their work includes illustrations for Shincho Bunko Yonda? and Yorimichi Pan! Se; picture books such as Buu-san no Boo and Hitori-goto Ehon; and manga including SUNAO SUNAO. They received the Grand Prize of the 13th Japan Picture Book Awards for The Story of Yoshio-kun Who Spilled His Milk.
