The front cover features “Leicester,” a 1912 wallpaper design by John Henry Dearle, a close friend and collaborator of William Morris. The intricate pattern combines stylized plants and leaves to create a richly detailed botanical design.

The back cover features “Wreath,” a 1876 wallpaper design by William Morris, in which acanthus leaves intertwine with poppy-like flowers.
