The cover has a textured, canvas-like finish with a firm yet slightly flexible hard-cover construction. Red foil stamping is used for the “2027” on the front cover, while the spine features “2027” in white foil.

The back cover is printed with a bright silver-gray version of the handwritten “Frederick” lettering used on the endpapers of the picture book. The flowing letters create a playful design inspired by Frederick’s thoughts and imagination.
