Hobonichi Techo A5 100%ORANGE The Squirrels Go Somewhere Planner Cover 2027

The Hobonichi Techo 2027 planner cover features artwork from 100%ORANGE, the Japanese illustrator duo behind the picture book Ohikkoshi.

Originally created for the children's magazine Ohanashi Pooka in 2007 and published as a picture book the following year, Ohikkoshi follows a lively procession of squirrels as they cross a suspension bridge, walk down stairs, cross streets, climb fences, and stop for a short rest along the way.

The Cousin Size cover, titled “The Squirrels Go Somewhere,” captures a playful scene of squirrels moving in a line across boots, flower pots, and even a cat. Some squirrels wear striped shirts, carry umbrellas, or have belts, adding small details that invite you to imagine each squirrel's personality.

The cover features a dynamic illustration that extends across the front and back. The interior has a warm orange design with a view of the scenery in front of the squirrels. A brown charm inspired by an acorn is attached to the end of the bookmark, while the right interior pocket features the 100%ORANGE signature.

The exterior does not include a pocket, allowing the large illustration to remain the focus of the design.

Matching stationery inspired by Ohikkoshi is also available, making it easy to bring more of the picture book's playful world into your everyday planning.

About 100%ORANGE

100%ORANGE is the collaborative name of illustrators Kenji Oikawa and Mayuko Takeuchi. The duo creates illustrations, picture books, manga, and animation.

Their work includes illustrations for Shincho Bunko Yonda? and Yorimichi Pan! Se; picture books such as Buu-san no Boo and Hitori-goto Ehon; and manga including SUNAO SUNAO. They received the Grand Prize of the 13th Japan Picture Book Awards for The Story of Yoshio-kun Who Spilled His Milk.
