The Hobonichi Small Permanent Paper Bag is a compact version of Hobonichi’s long-running reusable “Permanent Paper Bag,” first introduced in 2000. Designed to resemble a paper shopping bag, it can be folded flat and reused for everyday carrying, storage, or gifting.

Sized to hold an A6 Hobonichi HON planner, the bag has a generous gusset and a small inner pocket for cards, business cards, or other small items.

Two illustrated designs are available:

Shiro Neko features artwork by illustrator Yumi Kitagishi, based on motifs from her acrylic gouache work “DABADA.” Two white cats are shown enjoying time together against a black background. The front features the cats wearing matching red dresses, surrounded by detailed frames, while pink handles add a bright accent.

Donguri features a warm orange background with a squirrel from the picture book Ohikkoshi by illustration unit 100%ORANGE. The squirrel is shown happily eating an acorn after moving, while the back features a simple vertical arrangement of a hat, bag, and apple. The handles are brown.

Use it to carry stationery and small items, store accessories, or display it as a decorative bag. It can also be used as reusable gift packaging by placing a present inside.
