Designed by graphic designer and illustrator Sanae Yuri, the “Forest Lake” artwork depicts a peaceful lake surrounded by lush flowers and plants. An elegant white swan floats across the water, while leaves stretch freely in different directions to create a lively yet tranquil scene.
Look closely and you will discover a variety of flower and plant shapes throughout the design. A swan in flight appears on the back side of the cover, while a small butterfly is subtly hidden among the illustrations, adding details to discover throughout the year.
The artwork is silk-screen printed using yellow, navy, purple, white, and silver inks. This combination creates a design that feels charming while maintaining a clean and sophisticated look.
