The Hobonichi Graph Notebook “Who Came” features an illustrated cover created in collaboration with picture book artist and illustrator Keiko Shibata.

The artwork shows a group of cats noticing the sound of a visitor arriving at their home. They peer toward the entrance from inside the room and even look outside through the window, creating a charming scene that leaves you wondering whether the cats are welcoming their guest or carefully checking out who has arrived.

Drawn in warm oil pastel, the illustration captures a playful and familiar moment from everyday life. The back cover uses the same red color as the door in the artwork and features Keiko Shibata’s printed signature.

Inside, the notebook uses lightweight and durable Tomoe River paper and opens flat to 180 degrees. The A5 size corresponds to the Hobonichi Techo Cousin, with 288 pages and a 10 mm thickness.

The pages feature a 3.7 mm grid. The grid color changes every 72 pages, following a red, blue, green, and purple sequence. This makes it convenient to organize different subjects within one notebook and find notes later.

Because it is the same size as the Hobonichi Techo Cousin, the notebook can also be used with compatible Hobonichi covers. It works well as a planner companion, a dedicated notebook for different subjects, or an everyday writing journal.
