The Hobonichi Large Drawer Pouch is designed to hold your favorite and important items together, allowing you to carry a neatly organized drawer wherever you go. Its accordion-style interior makes it easy to organize stationery, documents, cards, bankbooks, and other everyday essentials.

“Iwate Homespun Sherbet Tweed” features a refreshing white base woven with threads dyed in light blue, yellow, red, and pink, along with sparkling gold metallic yarn. The combination creates a colorful tweed fabric with a soft, airy texture.

“Homespun” refers to textiles with a handmade feel that retain the character of hand-spun and hand-woven materials. This fabric is produced at a small factory in Hanamaki, Iwate Prefecture, where the yarn is also dyed in-house. Different yarns, including metallic yarn, silk-blend yarn, and Japanese paper yarn, are carefully woven together at about one-third the speed of ordinary weaving. This slow process helps the fabric retain air within its structure, giving it a soft and comfortable feel.

The interior is finished in vivid light blue, with a wide ribbon attached to the zipper pull. The Large Drawer Pouch has two zippers and an accordion-style construction, making it easy to open and organize your belongings.

Inside, the pouch is divided into three sections: a card pocket section, a zippered pocket, and a mesh pocket. The card pocket section includes a large pocket that can hold folded A4 paper or an A5 clear file, a medium-sized pocket for items such as a passport or personal notebook, and nine small vertical pockets for business cards and cards. These pockets are also useful for organizing sticky notes, stickers, and masking tape.

The center zippered pocket is 9.5 cm deep and is suitable for pens, erasers, stamps, and other small valuables. The mesh pocket can hold A5-size documents and allows you to quickly check the contents, making it useful for storing important items such as bankbooks and receipts.

A deep exterior pocket also accommodates A5-size items. Despite its generous storage capacity, the pouch has a slim profile with a narrow gusset, allowing it to fit neatly inside a bag.
