The Hobonichi “HANA/AKA” Small Drawer Pouch is a compact organizer designed to keep stationery and everyday essentials neatly together. It works like a tidy drawer that you can carry with you, making it easy to organize your favorite and important items wherever you go.

“HANA/AKA” was created by painter Ichiro Yamaguchi. His “HANATABA” design, which appeared as a Hobonichi Techo 2023 cover, was very popular. For this Small Drawer Pouch, Yamaguchi created a new illustration featuring a single flower.

Against a clean white background resembling a blank canvas, a bold black line depicts one striking flower. Its petals are filled with a vivid red that immediately catches the eye. The vibrant red flower gives the design a lively and energetic feeling, bringing a bright touch to everyday organization.

When the zipper is opened, the pouch lays flat, allowing you to see the contents at a glance and quickly find what you need. Three slim pockets on the left are ideal for cards, business cards, rulers, scissors, and other flat items.

The right side features a mesh pocket for pens, masking tape, charging cables, and other bulkier accessories. An elastic band helps keep pens securely in place. A deep exterior pocket provides convenient access to items such as pencils and tickets.

Despite its useful storage capacity, the pouch has a slim profile with a narrow gusset, allowing it to fit neatly inside a bag. The loop-shaped zipper pull makes it comfortable to hold and easy to open.

It can also be used to organize stamps, bankbooks, receipts, and other important small items, helping keep your desk or bag tidy and organized.
